latentcor: An R Package for estimating latent correlations from mixed data types

چکیده
We present `latentcor`, an R package for correlation estimation from data with mixed variable types. Mixed variables types, including continuous, binary, ordinal, zero-inflated, or truncated are routinely collected in many areas of science. Accurate correlations among such is often the first critical step statistical analysis workflows. Pearson as default choice not well suited types underlying normality assumption violated. The concept semi-parametric latent Gaussian copula models, on other hand, provides a unifying way to estimate between `latentcor` comprises comprehensive list these enabling any continuous/binary/ternary/zero-inflated (truncated) implementation takes advantage fast multi-linear interpolation scheme efficient grid points, thus giving small memory footprint without compromising accuracy. This makes readily available modern high-throughput analysis.

poLCA: An R Package for Polytomous Variable Latent Class Analysis
poLCA is a software package for the estimation of latent class and latent class regression models for polytomous outcome variables, implemented in the R statistical computing environment. Both models can be called using a single simple command line. The basic latent class model is a finite mixture model in which the component distributions are assumed to be multi-way cross-classification tables...
متن کاملWrapped: An R package for circular data
The Wrapped package computes the probability density function, cumulative distribution function, quantile function and also generates random samples for many univariate wrapped distributions. It also computes maximum likelihood estimates, standard errors, confidence intervals and measures of goodness of fit for nearly fifty univariate wrapped distributions. Numerical illustrations of the packag...
متن کاملfrailtyEM: An R Package for Estimating Semiparametric Shared Frailty Models
When analyzing correlated time to event data, shared frailty (random effect) models are particularly attractive. However, the estimation of such models has proved challenging. In semiparametric models, this is further complicated by the presence of the nonparametric baseline hazard. Although recent years have seen an increased availability of software for fitting frailty models, most software p...
متن کاملagTrend: An R package for estimating trends of aggregated abundance
1. We describe an open source R package agTrend for analyzing regional trends of abundance from sites with uneven sample schedules. 2. The package agTrend uses an abundance summary approach to estimate trends. By considering abundance trends in this fashion, rather than a model parameter, we can easily augment missing observations to calculate aggregated abundance and trends. 3. The package use...
متن کاملctmcd: An R Package for Estimating the Parameters of a Continuous-Time Markov Chain from Discrete-Time Data
This article introduces the R package ctmcd, which provides an implementation of methods for the estimation of the parameters of a continuous-time Markov chain given that data are only available on a discrete-time basis. This data consists of partial observations of the state of the chain, which are made without error at discrete times, an issue also known as the embedding problem for Markov ch...
